Abstract

Tube bending is a process used in various industrial applications. There are different methods for this purpose; one of them is rotary draw bending of tubes. During this process occur deformations of the cross section of pipe that cause variations in the thickness of the wall and on the radio. A procedure for analyzing the influence of axial effort and internal pressure to reduce defects is showed in this paper. A new mathematical model and its evaluation using software are discussed.
