The achievement of inclusive and decent employment for people with disabilities

Abstract

The aim of this study is to analyze the employment situation of people with disability, paying special attention to women. For that purpose, the paper shows the main progress achieved regarding the social and labour inclusion of disabled people, on the basis of a deep revision from the most relevant academic and institutional contributions. Although it is recognized a certain progress in last years, the data included reflect that there is still a substantial gap regarding the entire population.
