Efectos moderadores de variables sociolaborales en la relación entre resiliencia y engagement en empresas energéticas

Resumen

La resiliencia y el engagement son variables relevantes, especialmente en el sector energético, donde la competitividad se acrecienta con el transcurrir del tiempo, así como el impacto de eventos relacionados con desastres y crisis, que generan mucha incertidumbre en la toma de decisiones y, por ende, tienen grandes implicaciones en los resultados individuales y organizacionales. Este estudio tuvo como objetivo analizar los efectos moderadores de variables sociolaborales en la relación entre resiliencia y engagement en empresas energéticas. Se tomó una muestra intencional de 125 trabajadores de la principal empresa de gas del Perú, a quienes se les administraron los cuestionarios CD-RISC para medir la resiliencia y la UWES-9 para el engagement, cuya información fue procesada con un modelo de ecuaciones estructurales para contrastar las hipótesis. Los resultados demuestran que la resiliencia influye positivamente en el engagement en empleados de la industria de gas y, además, se verificó que las variables sociodemográficas género y antigüedad laboral no ejercen efectos moderadores en la relación entre resiliencia y engagement; también, se evidenció que los roles de la experiencia laboral y la edad no pudieron ser probados debido a fallas en el cumplimento de los pasos del procedimiento MICOM.
