Characterization of new species of the genus Suphisellus Crotch (Coleoptera: Noteridae: Noterini), in Venezuela

Abstract
From the Llanos and Eastern Venezuela, six new species of the genus SuphisellusCrotch are described, 1873: Suphisellus gemellus, S. similarus, S. michati, S. monagas,S. nilssoni and S. sanfernandesis. The presence of S. flavopictus (Régimbart, 1889) is registered for the first time in Venezuela. The specimens were collected using three capture methods. Habitus, sclerites of male and female genitalia, and the prosternal process are illustrated.
