(PDVSA) Región Occidente frente a los factores claves de éxito gerencial. A tal efecto, se contextualizó la investigación dentro de una metodología con tendencia epistemológica positivista, de tipo descriptiva, con diseño no experimental, transeccional, de campo en el cual participaron 23 cooperativas de servicios inscritas en el Registro Auxiliar de Contratistas (RAC). Para la recolección de los datos, se aplicó un cuestionario, constituido por 16 ítems con escala tipo Likert. El estudio permitió resaltar la necesidad por parte de los socios cooperativistas de la importancia de poseer y promover entre todos sus miembros la disposición de enfrentarse a los retos, al mismo tiempo de convertirse en empleadores de procesos estratégicos que les permitan planificar, dirigir, organizar, controlar las cooperativas, logrando así ser competitivas manteniendo las características propias de su naturaleza, es decir, ser un negocio que gestionan sus propios miembros, que sigue el impulso de sus usuarios y cuya propiedad se comparte democráticamente.</p><p><strong>Abstract</strong></p><p><strong></strong>The objective of this study is to analyze cooperatives in the State of Zulia<br />that work for PETRÓLEOS DE VENEZUELA, S.A. (PDVSA), Western Region, in<br />the light of key factors for management success. The research was contextualized in a positivist epistemological tendency, using methodology of the descriptive type with a non-experimental, trans-sectional field design in which 23 service cooperatives, enrolled in the Auxiliary Registry of Contractors (RAC),<br />participated. For collecting data, a questionnaire was applied consisting of 16<br />items with a Likert-type scale. The study emphasized the need that cooperatives<br />have to possess and promote among all their members the willingness to<br />face challenges while they become users of strategic processes that allow them<br />to plan, direct, organize and control the cooperatives, thereby becoming competitive and maintaining their own characteristics; that is, a company managed by its own members that follows the lead of its users and whose property is shared democratically.</p&gt;}, number={3}, journal={Impacto Científico}, author={Alvarado, Yajaira and Martínez Ramírez, Marle and Hernández, Gladis and Prieto, Ana Teresa and Fernández, Richard}, year={2020}, month={jul.}, pages={49-66} }
